Microsoft announce original Banjo-Kazooie for Xbox Live Arcade

Rare's N64 classic of Banjo-Kazooie is heading for a XBLA release in concert with the upcoming release of Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts.

Completing achievements in Nuts & Bolts will supposedly be "rewarded with extra content and features" in the XBLA game through their "Stop 'N' Swop" element. No price tag yet.

Microsoft picked up the property of Banjo-Kazooie when they bought developer Rare. The original N64 game was a huge success with its large platform levels, collectibles and puzzle solving. Stop 'N' Swop was originally planned for cross-over functions with Banjo-Tooie but never came to pass.

Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts will be exclusively releasing on Xbox360 sometime this year.

avatar Oh yeah! I played way back when they first came out. The Banjo-Kazooie games were pretty awesome back in the day.
So if they're bringing back the original Banjo, when is Perfect Dark or GoldenEye gonna be out on XBLA???
