F1 2012 coming to PC, 360, PS3 in Summer 2012

Codemasters has announced that F1 2012, the official game of the 2012 FIA Formula One World Championship, will be coming to PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 this Summer. One of the highlighted new features is the Young Driver Test mode, where players will be introduced to the world of Formula One through a range of tutorials explaining how to handle F1's cars.

F1 2012, which is being developed by Codemasters Birmingham, will give gamers the experience of becoming a Formula One driver. The game will add new features, wide-ranging technical and gameplay advancements and extensive competitive and co-operative multiplayer components to the long-running F1 series.

The game will also feature gameplay difficulty scales to appeal to both the casual and the hardcore racer.

F1 2012 will also feature all of the official teams, drivers and circuits from the upcoming 2012 championship series, including the debut of the 2012 Formula 1 US Grand Prix at Austin, Texas ,and the return of Germany’s famous Hockenheim circuit to the racing calendar.

F1 2011 won the BAFTA Award for Best Sports Game.

I'm guessing that means Winter for us, and once more I raise the ditching of Seasons as release dates as they only pertain to the Northern Hemisphere - there is a bottom half you know. The bottom half, as we all know is always the best part. Oh, how rude....
Anyway, with the F1 season kicking off this weekend I'm almost tempted to get a wheel for my PC.
