Japanese game magazine Famitsu is reporting that Tecmo will be releasing downloadable content for their brutal third person action title, Ninja Gaiden 3, which will be released on the 22nd March.

According to the magazine, there will be two new weapons and two new multiplayer stages. Among the weapon DLC is a giant scyhe called the Eclipse Scythe, while the "Moukinsou" are claws Ryu straps to his arms and legs.

The multplayer stages to be released include a desert-themed level and a submarine under the sea. Both will be used for the Clan Battle, a 4 vs. 4 team deathmatch level.

Tecmo has not confirmed the downloadable content as of the time of this writing.
