Nival Interactive has released a new gameplay trailer of the free-to-play PvP strategy game Prime World, which was made by the same team that did Etherlords and Heroes of Might & Magic V.

Prime World has a very similar aesthetic and gameplay mechanic to those games, as players build up their towns, hire troops and send them off to fight in turn-based battles. The chief difference, of course, is that Prime World takes place in a persistent world populated by other gamers, who may either team up with the player or fight against them.

The objective in Prime World is to control the priceless energy resource called "Prime". Gamers can choose from dozens of characters, develop and level them up. Hero classes include such labels as Quarrier, Fire Fox, Rat Master, Archer, Artiste and Inventor, each of which have their own skillsets. Players will also have their own castle to develop and from which to recruit armies.

The game also features crossplatform apps on tables and mobile phones that will allow the player to interact with their territory.

Nival released a gameplay video showing off many of the features found in Prime World. Check it out in the video below.

Maybe this game can be fun... it seems so at least.
