Sega has announced that Sonic the Hedgehog 4: Episode 2 will be landing on PlayStation Network on the 15th May and on Xbox Live Arcade on the 16. The PC version will be released in May, but Sega has not given an exact date as of yet.


The publisher also announced that gamers who own Episode 1 will unlock a free Metal Sonic when buying Episode 2.

Sonic the Hedgehog 4: Episode 2 will feature local co-op play with the other player taking control of Tails. Sega recently announced there would be no Episode 3.
