PC version of Dark Souls confirmed in German mag

Dark Souls is officially coming to the PC platform as German PC games mag PC Action will be featuring the game on the cover alongside Assassin's Creed 3, Risen 2: Dark Waters and World of Warcraft: Mists of Pandaria.


The game will be released this coming August in a special edition called the Dark Souls: Prepare to Die Edition. The special edition will feature additional bosses in addition to the same content as the console versions. Given the release date, the extra bosses could be DLC being released for the console versions in the next few months.

The PC version follows a successful petition by gamers that was actively encouraged by the developer From Software.

No other information about the PC version is known yet.

Yeah, steering clear of mods that just make shit harder still. At any rate, I doubt that this game, being originally for consoles only, is going to be easily moddable anyway.

I would actually like to see the - Keep the gaming rig unharmed DLC - that would be easier and not threatening to see people throwing out their gaming rigs through the windows...

I think that a demo would be great to get a taste of how hard the game can be before dishing up any money for this.
