Remedy CEO raves Max Payne 3 is "f'ing brilliant"

The Max Payne franchise may no longer be in Remedy Entertainment's hands anymore, but the CEO, Matias Myllyrinne, is hyped up about Rockstar's take on the character in the upcoming Max Payne 3, calling the game "f---ing brilliant."

Max Payne 3's multiplayer was recently unveiled at PAX East 2012.

Myllyrinne went on to state, "I've had a chance to play it and we've worked with Rockstar a little bit - obviously, they're doing the heavy lifting. They're doing the development. But they wanted our input on a couple of occasions and we've had loads of our people, our core group, who worked on the first two games, give input and it's awesome."

Myllyrinne went on to praise Rockstar Games as a whole.

"Those guys, they just don't put out bad games. And so, in that respect, it's very - it's almost like the best position to be in. It's like somebody's making a great game and you just get to give them input, and it's already brilliant so I've enjoyed it," Myllyrinne gushed. "I can't obviously - I don't want to give any spoilers and can't give out any spoilers, but it's a testament to their attention to detail and it's a testament to their passion and dedication. It'll be worth the wait."

Max Payne 3 is due to be released on PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on the 15th May in North America, and the 18th May worldwide.

Really looking forward to this one.
Just hope we will not have double logins and stuff like that. Anyone know how the MP part will be? Will it be MS, Steam or something on its own?

I'd like to get it but so far the price for the digital copy on Steam and elsewhere is $90. I'll wait for a cheaper hard copy on EBay to become available after release. Still remember the day the first "MP" was released and how "way cool" bullet time was when experienced for the first time....especially with a sniper rifle.

I remember when the first playable demo was released. I finally got a new PC shortly there after, and my brother owned my PC for two days... longest wait to play on my PC, and I wasn't impressed.

Read your preview Jonah - and my questions remain since I'm not going to get this for console but for PC...

I didn't see anything regarding chosen MP platform - do you know?
