S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2's status may still be in question, but an animation video from 2011 shows off some of the work that went into the game by former GSC employee Sergey Zhukov.

The video is a pre-alpha build, running on average of 18fps, but it does give a hint of what to expect from the game if it ever comes out.

The music, incidentally, is "Live For What I'd Die For" by Jess Mills.

The models look quite good, I must say. I am really looking forward to this game, and I am hoping that it will be released.

I am busy playing Call of Pripyat, and the game is outstanding.

I liked stalker and call of pripyat too. I liked the fact that they were Russian.. different to the normal, and just as good. I'd love to play another...

Nice to see this game is really still being made.
The first one really stood out from the crowd, loved it.
