Could it be true that EA are copying tank models from Warhammer 40k for use in its browser-based real-time strategy game Command & Conquer Tiberium Alliances? A group of Reddit users noticed that several of the tanks from C&C Tiberium Alliances appeared to copy a number of models from the Warhammer 40k universe that is famously owned by Games Workshop, who have a track record of law suits against projects that use any of its content without permission. The Forgotten Bombard Tank has been compared to the 1995 Baneblade tank from the 40k universe, which can clearly be seen in the image below: The next comparison is for the Forgotten Grinder Tank, which resembles the Ork Bonecruncha, again created in 1995 by Games Workshop. You can see the image below: We've contacted EA for comment. Related games: | |
