Entertainment apps unlock this weekend for all in UK on Xbox Live

Microsoft is letting us freebie users of Xbox Live suckle at the Gold subscription teat this weekend as they unlock entertainment apps for the likes of 4OD, last.fm, Crackle and more.

There are also 30-day trials available for Netflix or LOVEFiLM to get the best sampling of streamed media over Xbox Live for this weekend. It begins April 20th and ends the 23rd.

Apps include Demand 5, VEVO, Screenrush, YouTube, Dailymotion, blinkbox, Muzu.tv, MSN Video and social apps Facebook and Twitter. They're free for 3 days to UK users.

For more information visit the official Xbox.com website. To access the Apps you need to visit the Apps Marketplace, browse to what you want and then select it to download and then install it; simple.
