Blizzard has announced that the current Diablo III beta will be terminating on the 1st May, two weeks before the game's release on the 15th.


Blizzard warns that all of the beta accounts and character information will be reset, and that players will only be able to post in the official forums if they own Starcraft II, World of Warcraft or have preordered the game.

The publisher thanked fans in a blog post, stating, "We'd like to thank everyone who has participated in the Diablo 3 beta. You've done an admirable job of testing, and we greatly appreciate all of the feedback you provided during this critical phase of development."
