Rumor: Black Ops 2 announcement on the 2nd May

An unnamed retailer source sent Kotaku an image of a new poster that has been sent out to stores from Activision that reads "05 * 02 * 12 Return for Debriefing" in the familiar Call of Duty font, with logos for both Treyarch and Activision.

This seems to indicate that Activision will be announcing some Call of Duty news on the 2nd May. It's doubtful that the announcement will involve Modern Warfare 3 or Elite downloadable content news - especially since Treyarch was involved in neither project - so it's reasonable to believe that Activision will finally be unveiling Call of Duty: Black Ops 2, especially since the theme of the original Black Ops was the main character being debriefed as the framing story.

This is hardly the first leak of the existence of Black Ops 2, of course. Hopefully, all speculation will cease in two weeks.

Stay tuned.

This could be interesting. Black OPS is fun with a good story, so I don't see why the next one won't be better.

BLOPS was indeed more fun than MW2 - never played the MW3 and MP was fun with all the versions - when it worked and wasn't destroyed by lag or cheaters...

I also never played MW3, though I would probably attend to that some time later.

Something I enjoy quite a bit is the Nazi Zombie feature, but I am beginning to get the idea that WAW was the best with this feature.

Yeah that could most likely be true - the BLOPS and COD Nazi Zombies aren't all that much. In the beginning and given the right crowd to play with - it can be really fun but after awhile it gets a bit too same ol same ol---
