Sony patents PlayStation Move peripheral

A rather weird looking peripheral attachment which would have the PlayStation Move controller plugged into it has been patented by those engineer madmen at Sony. What the heck is it?

Well it appears to be a large controller with wings either side, with the upper left 'joint' housing an analogue stick and the upper right the face buttons of a traditional PS controller.

It's weird and I'm scared - there I said it. Is it for driving, flying or warding off evil spirits? No one but the mystics at Sony Corp. towers knows for sure. I, strangely, want one.

It's a racing wheel. One is for a steering wheel, the other is for motorcycle handles.
