A South Korean newspaper is reporting the rumor that Japanese videogame publisher Nexon is making a bid to take over Electronic Arts. The rumor has caused EA's shares to spike. EA’s shares have spiked $1.22, or 8.1%, to $16.23, which follows a period during which EA's stock prices had been at a year-long low thanks to its transition towards a digital distribution network from retail. Nexon is best known for its free-to-play MMOs such as Shattered Galaxy. Stay tuned. Source: Forbes Related games: | |
