Now that Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 has been officially announced by Activision, new information has started to stram in. In the latest Call of Duty Elite TV episode of Roll Call, Treyarch studio head Mark Lamia has revealed that the Zombie Mode will be back and bigger than ever.

According to Lamia, "If you like zombies, you’re going to be really happy with what we’re doing with Black Ops 2. It’s our biggest, most-ambitious zombies ever."

As far as the single player campaign, Lamia promised that the developer has “done a lot of research into making this plausible near future scenario really resonate with the players.” If that weren't enough, Black Ops 2 won't have a linear campaign. He revealed the game will feature “branching story lines, new non-linear gameplay elements that we’ve been designing into the campaign.”

For those curious in the multiplayer, Lamia teased that more info would be coming in the future in its own reveal, but hinted that the multiplayer modes will be “really pushing the boundaries in multiplayer.” Call of Duty: Elite will have an even more integration with Black Ops 2 as well.

Great, things sound great to me. I love the Zombie Mode, though without a good team, it can be a pain in the a s s.

Oh no, the one oddity I didn't like from "CoD WaW" has become a monster. Even with the non-linear campaign, the heavy influence of "CoD Elite" is enough to put me off.
