No Half-Life 3, Half-Life 2: Episode Three at E3 2012

Those of you who were hoping that E3 2012 would be the stage for Valve to announce Half-Life 2: Episode Three or even Half-Life 3, forget it. Valve has announced there will be no new games announced at the celebrated videogame conference in June.

That also rules out another Portal, Left 4 Dead or Team Fortress title announcement.

Never fear, however. Counter-Strike: Global Offensive will be at the show, and we'll be happy to get some hands-on time with it there.

I doubt that the world is going to like this very much. People are looking more forward to Half-Life than Counter-Strike, I am quite positive about that.
