E3 2012: THQ will not have a booth on the floor

THQ's recent financial struggles have forced the publisher into a position to where it will not have a booth on the show floor. The games will be present for preview, and will be demoed behind closed doors.

According to a press statement from a THQ representative, "We’re not producing a booth, but we will be participating in E3. We will be showing games to the E3 judges at their event coming up, and we’ll be hosting a press and business center at the show for meetings (as well as participating with first party activities).

“When we needed to make the decision on the booth (many months ago) we were in a MUCH different place than today. But, we will be there to support our portfolio and the show itself.”

Titles that will probably be demoed at E3 from THQ include Darksiders II, Saints Row: The Third - Enter the Dominatrix, and possibly Company of Heroes 2.

Let's just hope this is THQ being sensible by not over-spending frivously. Then again, you have to spend it to make it. One whiff of a ship burning, and the rats they will 'a leave.

well...it is better to shut down that studio than to be bought by EA or Ubisoft....

I wasn't going to mention Ubisoft as to me they are now simply franchise-wreckers, if "AC" is not involved.
