Capcom profits slip after slow fiscal

There have been some disappointing numbers from Capcom for the fiscal year ending March 31st, as revenue was down 16 percent to $1.02bn. Profits slimmed 13 percent to $84.2m.

Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City has moved good numbers despite critical reception. 1.7m units sold in Europe and the US, with 250k in Japan. It became Capcom's 25th best-seller.

Nintendo 3DS title Monster Hunter 3G also moved an impressive amount; 1.6m units in Japan. Street Fighter X Tekken entered in below worldwide expectations at 1.4m.

For the present fiscal year Capcom predict a 27.9 percent rise in revenue, and 45.7 percent more profit.
