LEGO Lord of the Rings video game confirmed

Speculation has been rife for a while, but finally, a LEGO Lord of the Rings game has been confirmed.

Packaging for LEGO's new Lord of the Rings toys has revealed a tie-in title is on the horizon. Many toy reviewers have received early versions of the set, and have posted hazy images outlining developer Traveller's Tales and its parent Warner Bros are on the box.

Traveller's Tales have held the LEGO license since 2004, and have subsequently released titles based on Stars Wars, Indian Jones, Harry Potter and Pirates of the Caribbean.

Expect to hear more at E3.
