Def Jam Rapstar developer 4mm look set to close its doors. Founder Jamie King told Gamesindustry that the company's battle with record label EMI is too much for the company to survive.

"We’re rather starved for money. We have not got any new funding and obviously we need to resolve everything with Rapstar. And we’ve also got to eat," King commented.

EMI has reportedly approached 4mm for $8 million in unpaid royalties, which as you may be aware, it doesn't have.
