Capcom has announced action shooter Ex Troopers.

The game will be under the tutelage of Shintaro Kojima (Monster Hunter series), and takes place in the same universe as Lost Planet. It features anime-styled visuals and a school-themed story.

Ex Troopers will be available on PS3 and DS, with no word on an Xbox 360 or PC release as of yet. We expect to hear more on this soon.
