Sales for the curiously addictive Minecraft just aren't slowing down. It's been available to buy for three years as Mojang made its alpha and beta builds available to fans to try.

Minecraft has become the fastest-selling Xbox Live Arcade title of all time, and has even seen off with a diamond pickaxe Activision's Call of Duty: Black Ops as the second most played Xbox Live title. Another update is in the works for Minecraft, with more info available on Mojang's website.
