Developer Killbrite Studio has announced a unique first-person horror adventure game, Among the Sleep, where the player is put into the role of a 2 year old toddler, evoking primal childhood fears.

Players play a todder who's just been tucked in and sung a lullaby to, but events occur that have them exploring their own home at night, crawling for the most part but occasionally walking on two feet for short periods of time. Unexplained, magical things happen and the toddler finds himself outside of his house and in a strange new world.

The mood and setting Among the Sleep is powerful enough that the game has already won two awards, despite not being complete yet.

The developers state that Among the Sleep will be released sometime in 2013, and have released a teaser trailer. Check it out in the video below. Players can also visit the official site here.
