City Interactive today announced its new arcade aerial combat game Dogfight 1942.

"Dogfight 1942 is the most accessible air combat game ever to be released on these platforms," said Lukasz Hacura, Executive Producer for the title at City Interactive.

"The game controls are incredibly intuitive, reducing the need for lengthy tutorials and making it fun for any type of gamer and at the same time remaining challenging enough for harder-core flight game fans."

Dogfight 1942 will launch on Microsoft Xbox Live Arcade, Sony PlayStation Network and Steam later this year.

I'm go to go ahead and say that's probably a bit too arcady for my tastes. Might be surprised, but that's how it looks.

"Wings of Prey" is too Arcade for me, so this will be usual CI fairy floss. I'll stick with "Rise of Flight" and it's new Airco DH2 and forthcoming English Channel Map, and the limpdick "IL2: CoD".
