LucasArts' Star Wars 1313 has been announced via the company itself. It's a third-person action adventure set in the criminal depths of Coruscant, and we play a bounty hunter.
We'll have to rely on "human skills and gadgets" over Force powers. Fans can plunge into a "dark and mature world" as we navigate the Star Wars underworld of gangsters. No date yet.
There have been no platforms announced either. It was rumoured that we'd be filling the boots of Bobba Fett, but no. At least we're still a bounty hunter - a much sought after profession.
"Star Wars 1313 dives into a part of the Star Wars mythos that we’ve always known existed, but never had a chance to visit. We are committed to bringing the best gameplay experience and visual fidelity to life and I truly believe the work we are showcasing at E3 will speak for itself,” said LucasArts president Paul Meegan.
We're told an "arsenal of exotic weaponry" will be ours to take down targets. Our bounty hunter will have to endure a "criminal conspiracy" as we go about our work on Coruscant, the capital of the Republic and Empire regimes. Right now there's just one image that has been released for Star Wars 1313. Visit the .
With E3 next week, LucasArts should be prepping some sweet exposure for us.
