The pre-E3 special by GTTV has announced Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2. The game is currently in development for a 2013 release. A cinematic trailer has been published by Konami.

We get treated to some theatrics with Gabriel Belmont facing off against a huge golem, and even a giant bird made of fog. All in a day's work. Next week E3 is in full swing.

Hopefully there'll be more shown by Konami of Mercury Steam's work with the Castlevania franchise, which they've helped revitalise. There's never a shortage of evil to slay.
