Rumours sparking from the latest issue of Famitsu suggests that Microsoft paid for the porting of Final Fantasy XIII from the PlayStation 3 to the Xbox 360, according to several sources that say they've read the magazine, but this won't be confirmed until scans start appearing on the Internet.

The article also suggests that FFXIII will be out next summer in Japan, with Europe and US versions coming by the end of next year.

Square-Enix also claimed that porting Final Fantasy XII to the Xbox 360 shouldn't be a difficult task to do, which will hopefully mean a similar release time for both versions.

Keep this in your rumour-mill for now until we start seeing some scans.
