Ubisoft has announced that Far Cry 3 has been delayed, and its new release date is a far cry from its original 7th September launch. The game will now be released in Europe on the 29th November, with the North American launch happening on the 4th December. The game will be released on PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.

According to producer Dan Hay, the game needs more work. “We’re taking more time to create the best possible gameplay experience,” he informed, “Far Cry 3 is a huge offering and we want every element of this insane, action-packed adventure to be of the highest possible quality for the players.”

Ah well, better this than a buggy release.

I wouldn't be surprised if they delayed the PC version even further.

Perhaps by a week or two, I doubt they'd risk delaying it more than that, they'd completely miss the holidays otherwise.

Delay away. "Far Cry 2" ended my journey with this franchise.

Except this looks completely different to it, I disliked Far Cry 2 as well but this one looks great.
It would not hurt to at least wait for the reviews until you bury it :)

Oh, don't you worry nocutius, they will have plenty of time to include all the bugs and badness the dastardly PC pirates, I mean gamers, deserves!
