Paradox are to air a live demo of the newly released Sword of Islam DLC for Crusader Kings II, which lets players experience life on the other side of the sword as an Islamic ruler.

It comes with new laws, traits, titles and over "100 new events" to tread cautiously through. There will be a TwitchTV live stream event today starting at 9 am PDT / 6 pm CEST.

You can watch the live demo through Paradox Interactive's TwitchTV channel. Crusader Kings II project lead Henrik Fahreus will be leading a walkthrough and a Q&A.

"Henrik FĂ„hreus, project lead on Crusader Kings II, will guide you in your quest to experience the Crusades from the other side. This includes a walkthrough and a QA session from the community via chat. Take this chance to see the developers talk about the game and tell you all the inside information from behind the scenes," said Paradox.

"So tune in for a live Developers Showcase of Crusader Kings II: Sword of Islam!"

Those DLC's PI has been doing lately are getting on my nerves. Things like the correct heraldry for historical families, ugh. Good thing I enjoy the games as much as I do.

Actually, come to think of it, their Flemish lion was seriously lacking anyway, I made my own -_-

Real Flemish lion :

See the difference with the in game one if you have it ;)

Yea i noticed those annoying mini DLC they started doing too, i don't mind too much as long as they're not trying to sell me something crucial that was supposed to be in the base game/expansion in the first place.

Which is the case with one of the two DLC's released with "Sword of Islam".
