Sony Japan has announced that the bizarre animal-centered survival action title Tokyo Jungle has sold over 200K units from the 7th June through to the 22nd. Tokyo Jungle has the player taking on the role of a Pomeranian dog in a world where all humans have vanished, and it's up to the animal to find out why. The dog wanders through a deserted Tokyo populated with nothing but animals. The game also features a survival mode in which the gamer takes control of an animal and takes on all comers. A few weeks ago, Sony promised the game would see a North American and possibly European release as well sometime in 2012. Related games: | |
