Gearbox release Borderlands 2 "Wimoweh" trailer

The latest trailer for Gearbox Software's Borderlands 2 takes another humorous turn as we get treated to Pandora's very own twisted 'A Wimoweh, In The Jungle' music video.

There's plenty of guns, creatures and explosions to feast your eyes on. In fact to miss watching this would be like turning over in the 1960's when the moon landing was on.

Borderlands 2 releases on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC September 18th in the US, 21st in EU. We're promised gazillions more guns but until then check out the awesome trailer below.

Looks like some nice new locales to visit and obliterate the inhabitants. I'm afraid though it will be another that I will for the GOTY edition for, as I have yet to complete the first yet alone it's DLC's.

Shise....so little time, and I'm not getting any younger:(
Just picked up the "Sword of Islam" Expansion for "CK II" on Steam for 75% off and "Legends of Pegasus" is looming. *anguished groan*
Yes that's right, the Steam Summer Sale is on.

I wonder if I still have my saves...I had a wicked acid type revolver....

I forget what I have, but I still have the game installed - no excuses for me then.

That revolver was absolutely insane. It remained my heaviest hitter for like 10 levels before I finally stopped one-shotting everything ^_^

Only downside was the two round magazine.

The one-shotting part is mildly amusing as well :)

Nice trailer, it sells the game very well.

This thingie will be an apsolute ownage when playing the CO-OP. Can anyone confirm that there will be a split-screen mode on the PC?

Split screen on the PC? Wha?! o_O

Well, the original Borderlands could be played in split-screen hotseat by modifiying the game configuration files and using some external software.
Still, the console version of the game had this option by default. I think I had read somewhere that the PC version of Borderlands 2 might have split screen enabled. Besides, Co-Optimus listed it as a "couch co-op" game. See for yourself: http://www.co-optimus.com/game/2234/pc/borderlands-2.html.

Well yeah...because split screen on a console actually is something people do. I've never even heard of anyone doing it on the PC and I honestly can't see how that's practical anyway....what you plug in two keyboard/mouse sets? And you'd pretty much HAVE to have a dual monitor setup since the screen would be too small.

My idea of PC "splitscreen" is a bloody LAN game. ^_^

Me and my brother play split-screen on PC in whichever game we can.
Either on a single keyboard or with a gamepad. A great example of this is the Cortex Command. Or, the Lego Batman 2.
Hell, we even played Left 4 dead 2 on split screen (keyboard plus mouse and a gamepad).
It's much cheaper to just buy a gamepad and plug it in than to get another gaming rig and form a LAN connection.

Split-screen is a viable option on PC, and has been in the past with one player on M&K the other using a controller. Now I'd presume you'd both have controllers.
I like the idea only to have the option of playing against or in co-operation with my son (though we would turn on each other, as is the Asutralian way). I think it was a "MK"game, or some sports game years ago that I did this.
Now, I prefer to play full screen, and leave Versus and Co-Op to my aged XBox and the small handful of games that support it.
