Epic Games has revealed during their San Diego Comic Con 2012 panel for the game Fortnite, which will be the first game to use the Unreal Engine 4 engine, will be a PC exclusive.

Fortnite is an open world tower defense title that is strongly inspired by Minecraft, in which players build fortresses during the day with traps and weapons, then fend off enemy forces at night.

Epic Games first revealed the game last year during the Spike TV Videogame Awards.

"Demolition, Inc." with "Atom Zombie Smasher" and "Sanctum" thrown in for good measure by the looks of this trailer. Have to wait for actual gameplay screenshots or video to know how the title will play, but as this is generally the domain of Indie devs these days (Tower Defence games are a dime a dozen) I'll be interested to see how epic Epic make this.

Okay this one could actually be interesting, even though i`ve kind of had it with tower defence games, but it`s gonna be made by epic games,so even if it is good expect it to run like shit on a pc.

This might actually be nice. I hope they optimize their engine well.
