Announced at E3, LEGO The Lord of the Rings has a steaming pile of fresh images from the game being developed by virtual LEGO house TT Games. The LEGO empire can't be stopped!

The screens have been released in conjunction with that little gathering in San Diego for Comic-Con. Is there anything LEGO can't render adorable? It's coming to Xbox 360, PS3 and PC.

It'll also launch for PlayStation Vita, Nintendo DS, 3DS and Wii. The date for hitting the shops is pegged for Autumn this year. Check out the plastic Fellowship in action below.
