Electronic Arts has confirmed in an official press release that gamers who pre-order Medal of Honor: Warfighter Limited Edition will get access to the Battlefield 4 beta.

According to EA president Frank Gibeau, “Though Battlefield and Medal of Honor Warfighter each offer players a completely unique experience, they are united by their underlying technology base – Frostbite. These are two of the hottest shooters, coming together to deliver a one-two punch of action, intensity and shooter entertainment."

Fortunately for Battlefield 3 gamers, the sequel isn't coming anytime soon, as the beta itself will be run sometime in the Fall of 2013, over a year from now, which hints that Battlefield 4 will probably be a November 2013 release.

Gamers interested in the promotion can find out how to gain beta access to Battlefield 4 here.

November 2013 - how more blatantly obvious can they be going up against "CoD"? Might as well declare war now. As for pre-ordering "MoH 2", no thanks. The price on Origin, and for the boxed version is AUD $90 for a game where the SP is the only refuge from hackers and cheats that plagued/plagues "MoH". Despite the hassles with the cheats, I enjoyed the MP in "MoH" as the progressive battlefield opening up as each VP is taken and the vistas that surrounded each map of the Afghan mountain range gave it a sense of scale that it realisitcally lacked.
Maybe wwhen the price drops after release, depending on how it is received by the players.

Can't really say that I feel the least "hungry" for another BF game. What I would like to see is actually a Bad Company game for PC in the driver seat - that was more fun...
