Harmonix has announced that the instrument-less version of their popular music game, Rock Band Blitz, will be hitting Xbox Live Arcade on the 29th August, and PlayStation Network on the 28th. The game will cost a mere 1200 Microsoft Points / $14.99 USD.


Four new songs have been included:

• Avenged Sevenfold – “So Far Away”
• Fun. ft. Janelle Monáe – “We Are Young”
• Kool & The Gang – “Jungle Boogie”
• My Chemical Romance – “Sing”

However, what makes this a bargain for Rock Band gamers is that those songs are completely compatible as full songs in Rock Band 3 - and any Rock Band song is compatible with Rock Band Blitz!
