While the Xbox Live Arcade version of Kung Fu Strike: The Warrior's Rise seems to be in limbo, QoocSoft has announced a PC version for release on the 24th July.

The Chinese calligraphy-inspired action-arcade game features 28 stages of combo-based fighting. The better the player's combat, the more gold earned and abilities and items; online leaderboards also track other players and friends as well.

The game also features co-op gameplay, and upcoming downloadable content called the "Master Levels" (which will be released in October) will have an even harder difficulty, which will make co-op almost mandatory. There is also a Vs. Mode for players to fight each other. All multiplayer is same machine offline, however

The game, which is being released on Steam, will cost $9.99 / £7.99 / €7.99.

This looks like a fun game to play... I haven't played any proper fighting games in a while... last I played was Mortal Kombat and Budokai 3.

I think I'd rather play the "MK Trilogy" for PC , tbh. This looks very light on graphics...sort of "Street Fighter IV-Lite", and graphics mean a lot to these games.

This one is less a fighting game and more a combo-scoring action game.

Damn... back to Mortal Kombat then I guess. That game just doesn't get old for me.
