Diablo III 'God mode' exploit for Wizard discovered

The good people of Sanctuary needn't worry about those demonic hordes from hell, as long as there is a Wizard in the mix. A rather powerful exploit has been discovered making Wizard's invulnerable.

This of course has huge repercussions as players can effectively 'farm' hardcore modes with ease. So far there has been no comment from Blizzard. This could damage the auction house markets.

Both the gold and real money auction houses rely on those unforgiving loot drop rates, which increase in higher difficulty modes as an incentive to play them.

How does one manipulate the forces of the game world to achieve God status?

Step 1: Select Teleport - Fracture. Bind it to a key
Step 2: Select Archon, tested with Improved Archon
Step 3: Hover your mouse over or near your character
Step 4: Press Teleport
Step 5: QUICKLY(!) Press Archon

That morsel of infernal knowledge came from a poster on the official Battle.net forum. Blizzard is likely to jump this pretty quick given how easily the auction houses could be flooded with hardcore loot. Yes the real victim here is capitalism. I'm sure there'll be a few more Wizard characters on the Battle.net servers real soon.

I'm surprised he shared this info instead of simply exploiting it. It must have become quite widespread.

I`m sure he wasn`t the only one to have seen this,or perhaps he hates the auction house as well and wants to see it burn.

I don't understand this, though. Why would you want to ruin your own gameplay experience?

Jonah the gameplay is ruined anyway, this game requires no skill,it`s all about equipment.

Why would gamers hack, cheat, steal to ruin their gameplay and everyone else's? Good qutesion but they do it and how!
Poor old Blizz, they just can't seem to get a break with "D3"!

It is a sad day indeed that I have to say this... But I agree, about damn time Blizzard gets hit hard by their greediness. I am just as fed up as the rest of the world with Blizzard.

The only reason why I still support them, is because I love their games, especially Starcraft II. Other than that, they are screwing everything up.
