Assassin's Creed 3 multiplayer to feature story?

Ubisoft appears to be including story elements for Assassin's Creed 3 multiplayer as a clip refers to something called 'Story Quest'. It's from an early build of the game however and could change.

It seems we'll be able to unlock story-based 'files' within the Animus. NPC Warren Vidic returns to be the voice and presence of Abstergo and their Templars in training.

Multiplayer modes Wanted, Manhunt, Artifact Assault, Team Deathmatch and Capture the Flag are all spotted in the clip, as well as the new team-based Wolfpack.

Ubisoft has thrown their corporate weight around unfortunately and got the YouTube hosted clip pulled "on copyright grounds." The footage first appeared on GameTrailers, and was of course inevitably mirrored on the video sharing bazaar known as YouTube. Hopefully multiplayer details will spill at Gamescom next month.

Assassin's Creed 3 releases on Xbox 360 and PS3 October 31st, on PC later in 2012.

They should better add a mode thats cooperative or the multiplayer won't last long such as the previous ones!
