Tony Hawk HD enjoys 120K sales in XBLA launch

Developer Robomodo has announced that the Xbox Live Arcade launch of Tony Hawk's Pro Skater HD has been successful, moving over 120K units after a week since its launch.

If that weren't enough, developer Josh Tsui notes that sales have not been tapered - rather, they have been steady. This is due, according to the dev, to the ease of giving the game a trial and purchasing it from within the game.

Tony Hawk's Pro Skater HD will be released on PC and PlayStation Network later this year, and Robomodo is excited to find out how well the game sells on PC. "It should be interesting to see the sales on PC -- we've been surprised how many people are asking for that," Tsui gushed.

I shouldn't be surprised at PC demands as so many gamers now use XBox controllers when playing games (dickheads). It amazes me how many times games that are entirely PC-only strategy or Flight Sim titles have gamers ask the stupid dumb^%&K question: "Does it support a 360 controller".
NO - now go back to your bloody console kiddie.

Whew, only 2.15am and I'm already hot and bothered:)

Well hero you have every right to be pissed about this,i am as well,i mean you`re playing on a friggin PC,the only thing you should care about is mouse and keyboard.

In fact this gives companies the idea that they should not bother making mouse and keyboard controlls and just stick with controllers,as if the crap ports we get arent enough.

Case in point Assassin`s Creed 3,ubicrap said they might not even bother with mouse and keyboard controlls,if that happens i`m gonna tell all my friends to just pirate the game, they treat us like shit we`re just gonna do the same.

I remember one guy asking the question if "IL2: CoD" supported the 360 controller (which, being a serious sim it of course does NOT!!!!). His reason?:
"I like to play my PC games lying on my couch"....fargen icehole.

Seriously? That guy has no idea how PC gaming works if thats the case, hell any flight sim should be played with the almighty joystick and this moron wants controller?

Hell i have a ps2 but i still play my games on an emulator. Why?Because i can do it on my PC and thus get a better gaming experience.

I mean you can`t make a console game with only mouse and keyboard controlls so why do the aholes make PC games and expect you to play with controllers?

I have to agree, this whole 360 controller thing gets the worst out of me as well. I have heard it time and again as well that people love to lie on their couch and play games... (Then get yourself a damn console and stay away from PC's.)

I am not a fan of Xbox. PS can still go, but not Xbox please. I also stick to the emulator thing, but I also still play with mouse and keyboard xD. I even went as far as getting the old Nintendo games for PC... now that is the best invention I ever found, and still I use the mouse and keyboard.

PC, for me is the way to go, and I won't easily change my mind. Strategy can't be what it is without a mouse and keyboard, and FPS is slow when it comes to movements on Console. Besides, with a mouse you can use precision aiming, and that takes a whole lot more skill, then having a analog doing everything for you.

Oh, I forgot to add. Seems like Tony Hawks Pro Skater is one of those games that will never die. I grew up with THPS 2, which was great, and loads of fun, but I stopped playing after THPS 3.
