Take-Two Interactive during its investor call detailing the financial results for Q1 fiscal year 2013 has revealed the upcoming downloadable content packs for Max Payne 3, which has shipped 3 million copies over three platforms, which CEO Strauss Zelnick admitted were "lower-than-anticipated sales."

(According to VGChartz, actual sales across three platforms were 1.97M to date.)

August will feature a free "Disorganized Crime Pack," which introduces the Hoboken Rooftops multiplayer map and some new Score Attack modifier. However, the five DLC packs that were previously announced are being condensed into three 800 Microsoft Point ($9.99 USD) packs.

The packs include the "Hostage Negotiation Map Pack," the "Painful Memories Map Pack," and the "Deathmatch Made In Heaven Mode Pack."

There are no other details, save the price of each DLC pack.

When will this fad end? Oh, when they come up with the next idea for milking the average non-thinking gamer. Of course!
