Electronic Arts revealed in its investor call focusing on the publisher's first quarter financials for 2012 that Battlefield 3 Premium has been wildly successful, getting over 1.3M users to subscribe. The service had attracted 800K users in its first two weeks.

Battlefield 3 Premium, which earned EA $37M in revenue, gives players all of the future Battlefield 3 downloadable content for free, as well as other advanced stat and leaderboard features.

EA also revealed that their Origin digital distribution service reached 21M subscribers, compared to Steam's current 41M.

Hmmm. Once bitten....
Unless Dice can improve their Anti-cheat system, aside from an obsolescent PunkBuster that doesn't work then "BF4" will be a haven of hackers and cheats just as "BF3" is.
