Gamers who played the original Darksiders will have use of those old save files, as they can be used to unlock two in-game items in the sequel, Darksiders II.


The unlocked items include the the Pauldron of the Horsemen, a level 5 armor that boosts stats and critical damage, and the Chaos Fang, which is a level 1 scythe which also boosts critical damage and total damage.

Darksiders II is due to be released on PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on the 14th August.
