Reef Entertainment has announced a new gamed on the Rambo film series, Rambo: The Video Game, which will be released on PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. The game will take place over the course of the original three Rambo films (which indicates that the recent Rambo is either dropped or future DLC.)

The developer promises the game will feature both cover-based shooter gameplay and stealth killing, with rag-doll physics.

Not much else is known about the game save for a few screenshots, a teaser trailer and an official site.

Only the first film was any good, based as it was on the brilliant little sleeper novel "First Blood" by David Morrell (a book that should be read in tandem with the film). "Rambo III" is pure Cold War ultra-nationalistic propaganda that will not translate well into today's culture.
Leave it be. Rambo died in the novel (shot in the head by a sniper)- until of course Morrell had to resurrect him for the two subsequent novels based on the films.
