Konami announces Metal Gear Solid digital release schedule

Konami has announced the release schedule for the digital distribution of the HD versions of Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty, Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater and Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker for PlayStation Network and Xbox Live Arcade.


On the 21st August:

* Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty HD (PS3, Vita)
* Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater (PS3, Vita)
* Metal Gear Solid 2 and 3 Bundle (X360)

On the 28th August:

* Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker (X360, PS3)
* Metal Gear Solid 2, 3 and PW Bundle (PS3)

Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty and Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater were original released on the PlayStation 2 in 2001 and 2004 respectively, while Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker originally launched on the PlayStation Portable in 2010.

I would KILL for a PC version of the third game.

Yeah, well, the emulators require a tad bit better PC than I've got.

Hehe, Good old MEtal Gear Solid. First Console game I ever owned was MGS1 and it's still the best I ever owed for that platform. And MGS4 is my best PS3 title. Hideo did alright by me ^_^
