Silent Hill Collection patch cancelled on 360 while deployed on PS3

Konami has announced that the PlayStation 3 patch for Silent Hill HD Collection is now live, the Xbox 360 patch has been cancelled "due to technical issues and resources."


In an email, Konami explained, "Understanding the issues some users are experiencing, KONAMI issued a title update for Silent Hill HD Collection (PS3), which fixed frame rate issues as well as audio-synching and other reported issues. KONAMI apologizes to any players who are continuing to experience these issues on the XBOX 360 sku."

Does this mean the 360 version is unpatchable, or Microsoft is interfering with the update in some way? Stay tuned.

Probably MS with their policies again, I doubt the game couldn't be patched no matter how unexpected the bugs are.
