Next week begins Gamescom in Cologne, Germany and EA have confirmed what spectacles they will have on the show floor for attendees. There'll also be press-only briefs.

For John and Jane public EA have Crysis 3, FIFA 13, FIFA Manager 13, Medal of Honor: Warfighter, Need for Speed: Most Wanted, Star Wars: The Old Republic and Maxis' SimCity.

Behind press-only doors though EA has news for Army of Two: The Devil's Cartel, Battlefield 3: Armored Kill, The Secret World, Dead Space 3, FIFA Manager and social/mobile titles.

Gamescom runs August 15-19 with the great unwashed masses (the public) welcome to stroll through the doors beginning the 16th. It's arguably the most important games event now? The Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) held in Los Angeles has been criticised for 'becoming less about games' over the years. Trailers below for your pleasure.
