Paradox Interactive has announced the sequel to their traffic simulator, Cities in Motion 2, at Gamescom 2012. The new edition will focus on modern times, and will enjoy more detail and player options - as well as, for the first time, multiplayer.
In Cities in Motion 2, the city is now dynamic, and the player's actions will actually dictate how the city grows. Making affordable public transportation, for instance, will stimulate middle class housing. Players can even build roads with bus lanes. They will also deal with rush hour in a much more detailed manner.
Paradox released a teaser trailer for Cities in Motion 2, which is due in Q2 2013. Check it out in the video below.
