Amanita Design's brilliant point-and-click adventure game, Machinarium, will be headed to PlayStation Network this September 2012.


This was revealed on a recent PlayStation Blog update in which Sony's Ross McGrath hinted to fans, "What's more, two new titles as well in September, one brand new and one new to PSN - we're spoiling you rotten for sure."

A user guessed "Brand new game: Double Dragon Neon. Game new to PSN: Machinarium," which McGrath confirmed "Give the man a cookie, he's 100 per cent right!"

Machinarium was considered for Xbox Live Arcade, but Microsoft eventually decided not to host the game.
