World of Warcraft 5.0.4 update unlocking all races to players, including Pandaren

Blizzard has announced in its Battle.net Blog that the 5.0.4 update which lands on the 25th August will unlock every single World of Warcraft race to all users regardless of which expansions they own - including the Pandaren race that will be introduced on the 25th September in the Mists of Pandera expansion.

This also includes the Draenei and Blood Elves from Burning Crusade and the Goblins and Worgen from Cataclysm.

Of course, it seems what the patch won't unlock is the Monk class being introduced in Mists of Pandera.

Wait, what? Including for trial players? That's a really nice PR move.

Everyone REALLY wants to Monk class, not the Pandaren. ;)

Nah, I for one don't play WoW anymore but would love to go through that BC feeling again and explore the panda starting area.

Interesting how much this reminds me of Kung Fu Panda xD

Because it's a race of pandas that do kung fu? I mean it's silly :/

this is really more desperate struggling to get as much money out of this game as humanly possible isn't it?

I find this entire concept silly too but then again there's that race of cows and they didn't bother me much.

And come on, nothing's ever going to be as ridiculously over-the-top as the gnomes.

As the wise Oxhorn once put it, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PXPrFgFOTW0

Maybe you should introduce better validation of user accounts? captchas etc.?

Blizzard is definitely making desperate moves in order to make more money out of WoW, I agree completely with you SirRoderick. Honestly... it is time for the game to go F2P, I know it won't happen, or at least not very soon, but the game is now losing more and more followers. If Mists if Pandaria don't succeed, then WoW will be screwed.

I've never played a game so boring as the World of Warcraft is. Honestly.
I forced myself to level 20 and just uninstalled after that. What a waste of cash.

I must confess as well that the game is quite boring. It almost feels like you are not getting anywhere, especially when you look at that huge map.

The thing is, you get to go through all the map, but you need to spend a looot of time in it.
