Originally announced for PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance is now only heading to consoles. Until Platinum Games has completed work on these versions, a PC alternative isn't going to be considered.

Creative producer Yuji Korekado at Kojima Productions provided an update in a recent interview.

"Right now, honestly, we are doing our best to complete at the same time the PlayStation 3 version and the Xbox 360 version," he explained. "For the PC version, we will contemplate making it or not once we reach this goal of completing the PS3 and 360 versions."

Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance will be released for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on 22nd February, 2013.

Wasn't this supposed to be released on PC either way?

I believe once the game was handed over to Platinum, PC production ceased.

Meh, I'd prefer a PC version of the HD collection.

That would be awesome, I'd love to play those games.

Goddamn those console exclusives!

Whatever. Sorry but when I first saw Metal Gear playing, it was an agent tip-toeing his way through different housings and corridors looking like a sneaky Snake Plissken meets an Anime "american". Now it all looks like cybertrons have made naughty moves in the Anime sphere... Seriously, they all look like the bad guy in cartoons on Saturday mornings from when I grew up...

Lucky PS3!
